Joshua Metzger is General Counsel of OpenX, managing all aspects of the legal team including contract negotiations, strategic partnerships, corporate development, policies and legal compliance. As part of the senior executive team at OpenX, Josh works across all divisions in the company, helping guide business strategy through his legal perspective.
Prior to OpenX, Josh was SVP Corporate Development & General Counsel at Veoh Networks where he led the legal and corporate development group. He was also the chief legal officer at Overture, the pioneer in paid search. In addition, Josh has run and founded other companies, including one of the early fantasy baseball games and a start-up focused on user-generated search results.
Josh holds a law degree from New York University School of Law and a B.S. in Economics from NYU’s College of Business & Public Administration. Despite his 20+ years in Los Angeles, he remains a passionate fan of his New York sports teams.
